Z Flip 7 vs 7 FE

       Samsung released two Z Flip models this year: the Galaxy Z Flip7 and the Z Flip7 FE. This article will serve as a guide to help you decide which phone you should buy. The Z Flip7 is arguably the better phone, especially for its target market (women and Gen Z) with much more fun colors. It also boasts a 4.1-inch, brighter cover display that runs at 120Hz, compared to the 3.4-inch, 60Hz cover display on the Z Flip7 FE.

       The Flip7 FE has a slightly smaller main screen at 6.7 inches versus 6.9 inches on the Z Flip7 when unfolded. However, the Z Flip7 is far easier to hold in the hand and thinner overall. The Z Flip7 FE resembles last year's model, the Z Flip6, with its thicker and narrower design, which is noticeable and makes the phone feel somewhat outdated.

       The cameras are the same on both models, featuring 50MP and 12MP main sensors, but the Z Flip7 has a better chipset and more RAM (12GB vs. 8GB), as well as starting storage at 256GB instead of 128GB. The Z Flip7 also packs a larger 4300mAh battery compared to the 4000mAh on the FE.

      In Conclusion: If you want a better package, a thinner phone with a higher resolution cover display, and the best performance, buy the Flip 7. I would even go so far as to say that unless you can buy the Flip FE at a $200 or more discount, I would not recommend it.
