The YouTube App has gotten a redesign here are the three new features/changes. PENDING
1. Browser
When you click a link on YouTube it opens up an internal browser that is based on Chrome. (At least on Android don't know about IOS) Anyway, when you open the browser the three-dot icon to open the link in Chrome has now moved to the top left side of the device instead of the top right.
2. Chat
In premieres and live streams, the chat has moved from a bubble on the top, where the share icon is, to the comment bar. All you have to do is swipe left to see chat replays or tap the icon to chat. It seems YouTube is phasing out the chat icon because when you click it will direct you to click where the comments are.
